Unique and Funky Businesses of Regent Park Revitalization for the Foodies and Caffeine Addicts

Before Regent Park revitalization began and the newer family-run and small businesses move in, most of us have little reason to go to Regent Park. Gerrard street marked the definitive boundary between two different neighbourhoods- Cabbagetown and Regent Park. For those who doubt any positive changes will happen to Regent Park, think again. These are some fresh businesses contributing to what was once tired and run down joints, now restored and thriving.

Sukhothai - one of the best thai restaurants in town. Taste like your grandmother's recipe. It's one of the regular restaurants I frequent.

Thai To Go - Prasai and Dale have an innovative restaurant that provides good Thai food at great prices. A couple of years ago, they took a derelict spot and turned it into this cheery, clean location offering mainly takeout and delivery services. Dale is a board member at One Cole Condominium and offers a discount to One Cole residences, or if you byo take out containers/recycle the containers back to the restaurant.

Mylk Uncookies Espresso Boutique - Something for everyone...An Espresso Boutique, run by Toni and Elaine, serves house-made almond mylk and raw vegan treats...along with traditionally baked goods sourced from local bakers. Coffee was outstanding

Peter's Cajun Creole Pizza - Having moved from Corktown to Regent Park, Peters Cajun Creole Pizza offers one of the best pizzas in town. Peter is Serbian, and it's the unique blend of Serbian Cajun Creole Pizza that makes the flavors one of a kind.
